After staying for a few days in Carmel, it’s time to go home. We took Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) on the way from Carmel to SFO. It is probably one of the most beautiful highway we’ve seen. It was a good drive as the scenery was amazing along the California coastline.
Monterey Fisherman’s Wharf built in 1870 for loading and unloading of passengers. Used to be home of many Sardine Factories. Today, it has become a tourist attraction in Monterey. Full of tourists, seafood restaurants, candy stores, jewellery stores.
