Day trip to Silicon Valley (30 minutes drive from SFO)

Last summer after our Las Vegas Trip, we decided to spend a few days outside of San Francisco before taking our flight back to Singapore (SFO-SIN). Since we have visited San Francisco quite a few times, so it’s time to venture out of San Francisco.

This time we ventured south to Carmel-by-the-Sea. It’s less than 2 hours drive from SFO Airport where we get our rented car. On the way we stopped by Silicon Valley, San Jose to snap a few photos of Google, Facebook, Cisco campus. Just for fun!

Silicon Valley – home to many of the world’s largest high-tech corporations and thousands of startup companies.

Cisco is another old timers in the Silicon Valley. It is the largest networking company in the world.

Unfortunately non of these companies are opened for visitors unless you have somebody you know working there who might be able to give you a guest visit tour.
Nonetheless we can still drive around their compound and feel the geeky vibes.

Of course, never leave Silicon Valley without an In-and-Out Burger. There's one just around the corner.
